The brilliant Patrice’s debut novel was shortlisted for the Costa Children’s Book Award, has won the Bookseller YA prize and Waterstone’s Prize for Older Children’s Fiction – we are grateful for Patrice’s support with this free event and her school visits as part of the festival.
Charlotte Bradman – author of “Happy Nomad”- writing workshop for 7-13 year olds at Bude Library
Isabel Thomas – talking about her amazing book – “The Bedtime Book of Even More Impossible Questions” – applying her scientific take to some of life’s big questions including Why do we have two nostrils? Has a slug ever been to space? Bring your own questions to perhaps be included in Isabel’s next book! Perfect for those age 7+
